Greetings,

My name is Josh Kohl and I grew up and live  in northeastern Ohio with my fiancé Michelle and daughter Leyna. I started Modern Woodworking Designs LLC in spring of 2022, creating modern beautiful custom furniture for clients.  For many years prior I have learn things from light home renovation and grew into the world of woodworking. 

My success is based on my perfection of completed projects for clients and for the passion of taking something, that might be nothing, and creating something meaningful.  This is an art, passion and an appreciation with every product or project that leaves the shop to the client.
